Syndicating WordPress Content to Facebook

Looking for a great way to generate content on your Facebook page? Consider syndicating, or publishing, your content from your WordPress website onto your Facebook page. After all, you created the content and it should originate from your site, not from Facebook!

Rather than posting a link on Facebook or adding a quick comment to your Facebook page, which doesn’t give you or your business the due search engine credit for the content, add the content to a post or page on your WordPress site. THEN setup a WordPress plugin that will automatically syndicate, or post, your content with a featured picture and a short snippet from the content onto your Facebook page. This way, if one of your fans sees the snippet and is interested in the content, they will click through to your site and increase your traffic. Who knows, when they get to your site, maybe they will see something else they will like on the site and click around more as well! There are numerous plugins that can accomplish this, including:

Also consider syndicating your content to Twitter and Facebook at the same time. But always remember, in most cases it’s best to originate the content on your website and syndicate it to the social networks so you get the search engine and keyword credit for the content; after all, IT’S YOUR CONTENT!
