Project Intake
Bring us the technical mess.
Links, constraints, budget reality, awkward details, and “we are not sure yet” all help. The goal is not a perfect intake form. The goal is a useful next conversation.

- SECUREPractical questions before intake.
If your situation is messier than these answers, that is normal. Send what you know and we will ask the useful questions.
01 What is your minimum engagement? +
RTW is usually the right fit for projects that need planning, build work, and support beyond a quick one-off task. If you are not sure where your project lands, send the context and we will give you a clear read on whether it fits our process.
02 Do you work fixed-price or time & materials? +
Yes, both. The right model depends on how clear the scope is and how much the system is likely to change. Defined discovery work and tightly scoped builds are usually fixed-price. Ongoing platforms, support retainers, and evolving systems are usually handled against an agreed budget. We will explain the recommended structure before any contract appears.
03 How quickly will I hear back? +
A real person reads every intake note, usually within a business day. If the project fits the kind of work RTW does, the first reply will come from someone close to the technical side of the project, not a generic sales queue.
04 Will you sign an NDA? +
Yes. If the work involves sensitive information, we can sign a mutual NDA before deeper discovery. Send the basic context first, and we can handle the NDA before details go further.
05 Do you take over existing systems? +
Yes. We often help with systems that were built by someone else and now need maintenance, cleanup, new features, or a clearer support path. Before committing, we usually start with an audit so both sides understand the current state, risks, and next steps.
06 Are you hiring? +
Rarely and carefully. We grow slowly, but we read thoughtful notes from senior engineers, designers, and technical people who care about the practical parts of the craft. If that sounds like you, write to jeff@restontechwiz.com with “careers” in the subject line.
