A WordPress page is a post type that displays information that doesn’t change, such as a company’s “About Us” statement, contact form, or service descriptions. It is similar to a traditional Web page. In contrast, posts are typically used for blog content, which updates frequently.

While all pages and posts share the same template by default, pages can use additional page templates. You can also organize pages into subpages. To add a page to your WordPress site, select Pages | Add New from the Administration Area.
